Our Story
I’ll never forget the warm sunny day a 7 year old boy came into my ice cream shop in Portland, Oregon, Kate’s Ice Cream, and told me he had never had a waffle cone in his life. I glanced at his mom for understanding and she explained he has celiac disease and was never able to eat one. In that moment, I knew I had something I needed to share with others.
After that encounter, I dove headfirst into supplying this gluten-free waffle cone mix to ice cream shops across the country. I knew this was needed and I felt called to help serve people. My hope is that as an ice cream shop owner you will recognize how vast the gluten-free market is and how you can offer this as a way to show your customers you care about their experience.
