What kind of dairy-free milk do I use? We suggest using BOXED dairy-free milk (our favorite is coconut!). Buy a brand like Aroy-D or Pacific Brand from your local distributor. Easy!

Where else can we buy your mix? You can buy our mix on Webstaurant!

We have several ice cream shops and want to buy pallets, do you offer that? Yes! We offer discounted pricing for pallet orders for shops that have multiple locations.

Do I need a designated gluten-free waffle cone iron? We highly suggest investing in a separate waffle cone iron for your gluten-free waffle cones. This will make your customers feel safe, and draw in families and people who are gluten-free. Once you make this investment, you have these customers for life! Plus, the gluten-free community TALK. They will find out from their friends about you!

Is this product vegan? Yes! Our waffle cone mixes are 100% gluten-free and vegan.

Do I need to use oil spray on the waffle cone iron? Oiling your waffle irons is always good practice. Lightly coating with oil or spray will help.

How long do I cook the waffle cones? This will depend on your iron, but we find between 1:30-2 minutes is a general ballpark.

Will the cones go stale? Always store your waffle cones in an airtight container and use fresh within 2 days. You can crumble your cones and freeze to use as an inclusion or topping!

Why would I need gluten-free cones at my ice cream shop? The number of health conscious and gluten-free customers is growing rapidly, and nowhere near slowing down. Having a gluten-free cone option will attract customers who haven’t been able to have this treat, and will choose your ice cream shop over a competitor.

What do your gluten-free waffle cones taste like? Amazing! But really, we have fantastic feedback on these waffle cones that they’re even better than regular cones, lightly crispy, crunchy, and not too sweet. You don’t want your waffle cone to be too sweet - it should be a perfect compliment to highlight your ice cream, not overpower it.

What waffle cone iron do you recommend? In our experience, we prefer the Gold Medal 5020, as they cook evenly and last a long time. That being said, everyone is different in preferences and our waffle cones should cook appropriately on anything. If you’re having trouble, try turning the heat up to get a nice golden crisp. We highly recommend purchasing a quality waffle cone iron, don’t go cheap on this key item for your shop! The quality will suffer.

Troubleshooting: Soft cone? Not cooked long enough - you want golden! Too stiff? Overcooked! Roll quickly and you’ll have the perfect cone.

How long will the dry waffle cone mix last? This is a shelf stable product and can be stored for up to 1 year.

How long will my pre-made waffle cone mix last in the refrigerator? Up to 5 days.
